I married my childhood crush, and together we're building a life we once only dreamed about with our four kids. Growing up in a large family taught me to slow down and pay attention to the people around me. I've always been content being the wallflower, because that's where the magic happens. From a step back, watching the story unfold, I notice the quiet glances, the inside jokes, the happy tears, and the moments that might otherwise go unseen.

My journey with photography started at my church, where I learned to capture candid moments long before I ever learned how to pose someone. Looking back, it makes sense. I've always been drawn to real life as it's happening rather than trying to manufacture it.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me chasing one of my kids, baking something from scratch, or buried in a historical fiction or fantasy novel. Editing may keep me up late, but if you can't find me, there's a good chance I'm still awake at 3 a.m. convincing myself I can read just one more chapter.

These days, life is full, a little chaotic, and sweeter than I ever imagined. I'm grateful for it all.
